The Windsor Police Service is renewing a call for information on the whereabouts of a man who fled to the U.S. while out on bail facing charges in a child sexual assault investigation.
In December 2025, Daymien Alexander Kennedy was released on bail while facing multiple charges, including sexual assault, sexual interference, three counts of assault with a weapon, assault, publishing an intimate image without consent, two counts of mischief, and uttering threats.
His release conditions included house arrest.
The charges stem from four separate incidents, including the alleged sexual assault of a six-year-old girl; an assault on a woman using a hot torch lighter; and an assault in which a woman was threatened and cut with a knife.
Kennedy is also charged with publishing intimate images of a woman online without her knowledge or consent.
In April 2026, Windsor Police bail compliance officers conducted a routine compliance check and determined Kennedy had fled to Michigan, breaching the terms of his release.
The 30-year-old is wanted for failure to comply with a release order. After unsuccessful attempts to locate him, investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in determining his whereabouts.
Anyone with information on Kennedy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service Offender Management Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4390. You can also contact Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at catchcrooks.com.
