Windsor police have charged a 38-year-old city man after an investigation into a stolen vehicle.
On November 23, officers were investigating the incident when the suspect parked near an apartment on Sandwich St. near Detroit St.
According to police, the man entered the apartment building and officers arrested him without incident.
Officers determined the man had been driving a stolen vehicle with plates stolen from a different vehicle.
Inside the car, police found several stolen items and receipts indicating the suspect had allegedly made some fraudulent transactions.
The man faces nearly multiple charges ranging from possession of stolen items, to theft of a motor vehicle and fraud.
