A 22-year-old Windsor man is facing multiple charges after the alleged sexual assault of two children in the city’s west end.
Windsor police say officers were called to the 3400 block of Bloomfield Road Thursday night after two boys, ages 8 and 10, reported being approached by an unknown man while playing outside.
According to police, the suspect attempted to kiss the 10-year-old who manage to avoid the advance, and twice kissed the 8-year-old on the cheek.
The children ran home and told their parents, who confronted the suspect before he entered a residence in the same block.
Officers located the man in a nearby alley behind the 3300 block of Peter Street about 30 minutes later and arrested him after a brief foot chase and struggle with assistance from the K-9 unit.
Police say the accused was already subject to a release order tied to charges laid in May 2025, including sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, assault, and failing to comply with a release order.
He now faces two more counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference, as well as another charge of failing to comply with a release order.
