The province's Special Investigations Unit has cleared Windsor police officers of any wrongdoing after a man suffered a broken wrist last month.
The SIU was looking into an incident that occurred on February 6th, where a 37-year-old man was arrested at his home following a domestic situation.
According to the SIU, the man was not granted bail the next day and returned to a cell, where he punched the door.
He was taken to hospital by EMS and was diagnosed and for a broken wrist.
SIU Director Tony Loparco says "The video evidence establishes the man caused his fractured right wrist when he himself punched the cell door. Accordingly, I have terminated the investigation into this incident."
