Forest Glade Library has been a lot quieter than normal lately.
On Tuesday, crews were installing fiber optic cable on Forest Glade Drive and hit some power lines.
"If you have been driving along Forest Glade, you will notice that they have been drilling and putting in fiber optics lines, those are those big purple tubes, they are putting in the ground. They were pulling those lines to the arena and library when they accidentally hit some power lines," says Windsor Public Library CEO Kitty Pope.
Pope says the library has lost power and crews are still assessing the situation.
She is hoping in a day or two, the issue could be resolved and the power restored.
"So we can warm the place up a bit, then we will be back in service," says Pope.

She says it is rare for the library to be closed for this length of time but until power is back on, there is little they can do.
Fred, the Book Mobile, is in the parking lot if people want to put books on hold.
It is not known when power will be restored.
