A member of the Sun County Panthers is joining the LaSalle Vipers for the upcoming season.
Matthew Maggio has committed to the team.
The 5'9", 170lbs forward spent his last season with the Sun County Panthers tallying 20 goals and 24 assists during the regular season, tacking on another 12 goals and five assists in the playoffs. He went on to be named the Hockey Alliance player of the year.
"Matthew is an exceptional person and honour roll student. Matt is a pure goal scorer with next level speed, excellent hockey IQ with a strong compete level. We are very excited to have him committed to our team” said Vipers Head Coach John Nelson in a release from the team.
Maggio was the 2018 fifth-round pick of the Ottawa 67’s.
