Spitfire winger Mathew MacDougall is hoping to hear his name called tomorrow in Dallas
At least three Spitfires may be taken in the NHL Draft this weekend, with Curtis Douglas, Connor Corcoran, and Mathew MacDougall all on the Central Scouting list of players that could be taken.
MacDougall, who is from Aurora, is excited to hear his name called on Saturday.
" It's something I've been working towards the whole year so, all that hard work comes down to one day, so hoping for the best but it'll be a milestone in my career "
MacDougall tells AM800 Sports he was pleased with his performance last season.
"I think I had a really good year, considering it was my rookie year and I thought it went well considering we had a really young team so it was a great opportunity for me to come in and I think I had a good year, ya. "
The first round of the draft takes place this evening in Dallas, with the remaining round going tomorrow afternoon.
