The Jamieson Junior Golf event makes a stop at Rochester Place
The Jamieson Junior Golf Tour finished a busy week with a stop at Rochester Place yesterday.
In the Junior Girls' Division, Jasmine Ly (Roseland) won her second event in as many days with a 71.
In second place was Shannon Coffey with a 77 and Kyla Charlebois took third with a 79.
Melanie Burgess (Roseland) also won her second event in as many days with a 78, good enough for a two shot victory over Megan Schauer. In third place was Nicole Cesca.
Once again a three-way playoff was needed to determine a winner in the Junior Boys' Division, when Josh DiCarlo, Shawn Sehra and Luc Warnock all tied with a score of 71.
Yesterday it was Josh DiCarlo (Pointe West) who emerged victorious, leaving Warnock and Sehra in a tie for second.
Thomas Demarco (Essex) won the Collegiate Men's division with a score of 68 for his second title of the season.
The next event will be at Kingsville Golf Club on Monday, July 23.
