Memorial Cup hero Aaron Luchuk has been named OHL overage player of the year.
The 21-year-old Kingston native led the league in scoring with 50 goals and 115 points in 68 games this season.
Luchuk scored the goal that gave the Spits the win over the Erie Otters at the WFCU Centre last spring and the franchise its third CHL title in nine years.
He was selected by the Spitfires in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.
Luchuk had 35 multi-point games this season and recorded the league's second-longest point-streak at 21 games.
He signed a free agent contract with the NHL's Ottawa Senators in December and finishes his OHL career with 115 goals and 250 points in 274 regular season games.
