Windsor Spitfires captain Aaron Luchuk is the CHL Player of the Week after scoring nine points in three games including four goals.
The 20-year-old Kingston-native recorded two multi-point performances last week to help the Spits pick up two wins on a three-game road trip.
Luchuk scored his first career hat-trick against the Sudbury Wolves followed by a four point performance in a 5-4 win over the Owen Sound Attack.
Luchuk leads all OHL scorers with 15 goals and is tied for the points lead with Jordan Kyrou of the Sarnia Sting, both sitting with 28.
Luchuk joins teammate Michael DiPietro in being recognized by the CHL as the Spitfires netminder was named the CHL Goaltender of the Week from September 21 - 24.
