The founder of the Southern Ontario Military Muster is disappointed with the turnout at the military fan zone at the Memorial Cup. Geoff Bottoms says he was expecting more people to come and check out the displays.
Bottoms help organize the displays at the WFCU Centre's Corporal Andrew Grenon Rink. He says he thought it would be busier.
"It's a little slow," says Bottoms. "More people can come out and see the fantastic displays."

Bottoms says he's surprised by the low turnout.
"I actually thought it would be more busier but you know rain, long weekend and there's tonnes and tonnes of stuff going on in the city. I think they could have done a lot more advertising to tell you the honest truth. I know everybody is interested in hockey and what I find, there's a lot of information about the hockey games and the hockey schedule and everything else, there seems to be very little information on what we're doing. I've seen some but there should have been a lot more."
The military fan zone is open from 9:30am until 2:30pm and 4pm until 7:30pm.
