A Windsor Roofing Company has been fined after the death of one of its workers.
Following a guilty plea in Windsor court, the company was fined $100,000 as well as a 25% victim surcharge.
In July 2016, a worker for Rauth Roofing, fell through an opening in the roof of the GoodLife Fitness on Dougall Ave. near Cabana Ave.
The 53-year old man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and later died.
The Ministry of Labour had also issued five orders and four requirements to the roofing company.
