Sunshine Lists showing public sector employees who make $100,000 a year continue to be released.
The Greater Essex County District School Board has released 29 pages of results with the names of more than 1,500 employees. The majority are elementary and secondary school teachers, but it also includes vice-principals, principals, consultants, superintendents and department heads.
At the top of the list is the Director of Education Erin Kelly who made $244,000 in 2022.
Martha Hradoway, the Executive Officer of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation, was second on the list at $204,000.
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board has more than 1,000 names on its Sunshine List.
Director of Education Emelda Bryne brought home a salary of $247,000 and is the only name on the list who made over $200,000.
After the Province of Ontario's Sunshine Lists was released, Treasury Board President Prabmeet Sarkaria issued a statement to highlight the salaries of teachers, saying the number earning $100,000 is at historic highs of 65,510.
