A new Windsor business is bringing the area's history to walls.
Windsor Prints makes prints, canvasses, banners and posters of historical images.
Pictures like construction of the Ambassador Bridge, rum runners, Walkerville in the 1800's are part of the repertoire.
President Steven Nicodemo says they've had good response in the first weeks being open.
He says these are iconic images of the region.
"They go back to the building of the bridge, Ouellette Ave. in 1800, street cars," he says. "We thought the images were great, so we figured that there would be a market for it here in Windsor and people would be interested in getting them blown up for their homes."
Nicodemo says the source of the pictures is immense.
"We're working with the Walkerville Publishing Company, they do a lot of historical books here in Windsor," he says. "They gave us access to their photo records and these images are all from the 1800's, but they've been collecting them over the past 20-years."
Nicodemo says the company be releasing 5000 Ways You Know You're From Detroit.
