Congratulations are in order to four local paramedics.
They took home gold at the Rallye Rejviz International Paramedic Competition in the Czech Republic over the weekend.
It was first time any international team won the competition in back to back years.
The competition featured many gruelling scenarios on the Jelinek mountainside over a 24 hour period.
Some events included mass casualty incidents, rappelling and extreme medical interventions.

Speaking from the Czech Republic, team captain Chris Kirwan says the team trained for nine months.
"We trained with Windsor Police. We trained with fire agencies. We trained with tactical paramedics. We trained with as many possible people as we could get to get every possible angle covered and we put an enormous amount of work in this and ultimate at the end of the day it paid off," says Kirwan.
Along with Kirwan, the team consists of Lance Huver, Mike Filiault and Shawn May.
They'll be returning to the area over the next week.
