Local hospitals are getting a share of provincial funding to upgrade, repair and maintain their buildings.
Windsor Regional Hospital is getting more than $1.5-million while Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare is receiving at $771,000.
Erie Shores Healthcare in Leamington is receiving funding of $336,000.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is receiving new funding of $1.8-million.
The funding is part of a recent announcement by the Ford government to invest in 128 hospitals across the province with the money coming from the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
Across the province, the government is investing $175-million in repairs and upgrades.
Each hospital determines the use of those funds.
