Bryce Evon is coming home.
The Massey grad is transferring from the University of Michigan to the University of Windsor this fall to complete his teaching degree in the Faculty of Education.
Evon started nine of ten tournaments for the Wolverines in his senior year and helped U-M to post five top-three finishes, including team titles at the Dayton Flyer Invitational and the Desert Mountrain Intercollegiate.
He averaged 75.20 per round this past season with a career-best-tying 68 three times.
Lancers head coach Adam Wagner says he's thrilled to announce Evon will tee it up for the Lancers in September.
"For our program to add a player with Bryce's experience and ability is a huge step forward for the golf program at Windsor," says Wagner. "Bryce is certain to be an impact player for our squad and significantly increase our chances when we tee it up in September."
