An all candidates meeting is happening tonight in downtown Windsor.
The meeting is being put up by eight local, regional and provincial organizations including the Citizens for an Accountable Mega-Hospital Planning Process and the Ontario Health Coalition.
Spokesperson Philippa von Ziegenweidt says the meeting will deal with health care issues in the province and in Windsor-Essex.
She formal questions will take up the first hour of the meeting.
"They will be around the issues on health care and how they interact with issues that affect residents including poverty and after the first hour we're hoping to open it up to the floor and then the audience can ask their question as well," says von Ziegenweidt.
She says the mega hospital will be discussed but is not the focus of the meeting.
"We might have different priorities and so this meeting is not specifically on the mega hospital but it's about the issues around health care."
As of last week, all local provincial candidates have said they will participate in the meeting except the local Progressive Conservative candidates.
The meeting takes place at the School of Social Work on Pitt Street at Ferry, doors open at 6pm and the meeting starts at 6:45pm.
