Matthew Stafford tossed two touchdown passes and the Lions intercepted Drew Brees three times as they knocked off the Saints, 28-13, in New Orleans.
Stafford hit Golden Tate for a 66-yard touchdown to put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter.
Tate finished with eight catches for 145 yards.
Glover Quin, Tavon Wilson and Miles Killebrew each had a pick for 8-and-4 Detroit.
Matt Prater was 5-for-5 on field goals in the win. Brees threw for 326 yards and no scores as the Saints fell to 5-and-7.
