The Lions kick off their annual Thanksgiving Day game this afternoon against the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field.
Gametime is 12:30pm however the gates at Ford Field will open half an hour early at 10am.
Detroit is 6-4 on the season and in second place behind 8-2 Minnesota in the NFC North.
James Agnew has not practiced this week after suffering a knee injury Sunday and head coach Jim Caldwell said T.J. Jones, Golden Tate or a combination of both players could return punts today.
Agnew leads the NFL with 16.8 yards per return and has returned two punts for touchdowns this season. The Lions have won their last four games played on Thanksgiving Day, including a 16-13 victory over the Vikings in 2016.
The Lions claimed veteran defensive end Dwight Freeney off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. Freeney recorded three sacks in four games with Seattle this year.
Detroit has played the most games on Thanksgiving in NFL history. The Lions won 14-7 at Minnesota in Week Four.
