The Windsor Express couldn't send the home fans happy, losing 91-87 to the London Lightning at the WFCU Centre on Wednesday night.
The Express fought back after being down 16 points at the end of the first quarter to tie up the game at 79 mid-way through the fourth quarter, but couldn't complete the comeback.
Maurice Jones finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the Express to be named Player of the Game. DeAndre Thomas led the Express in scoring with 17 points while Quinnel Brown and Warren Ward each added 14. Centre Nick Evans grabbed 11 rebounds for the Express.
The loss moves the Express to 3-6 on the season.
The Express are back at home on Friday to take on the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans. Tip-off is set for 7pm at the WFCU Centre.
