A light dusting of snow is on the way for Windsor-Essex.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Steve Knott says snow will begin to fall late Monday evening and throughout the over night hours.
He says altogether the region can expect up to two centimetres.
"About one inch on the Canadian side of the border at this point in time," says Knott. "It also looks like because part of it will be falling in liquid phase, before changing over to snow, that is going to keep the accumulation down for Windsor."
Knott is also reminding residents to bundle up.
"I think our average high is around eight degrees for the Windsor area and we are more or less going with the forecast of 0, 1 or 2 so it is going to be pretty much cold week, the next main precipitation event is looking like Thursday night into Friday morning, it looks like a mix of rain and snow for Windsor-Essex."
Knott is advising motorists to get their vehicles ready for the winter and even though it's not a lot of snow, conditions maybe impacted Tuesday morning.
