Life-threatening injuries are being reported after a serious crash in Chatham-Kent.
Chatham-Kent police say officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Communication Road just before 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 14.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old man from Chatham, lost control before leaving the roadway.
Police say there were two other people in the vehicle, a 25-year-old man from Blenheim and a 16-year-old girl from Chatham.
Investigators say both suffered injuries, with one suffering life-threatening injuries.
They were taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical treatment.
Police say the 16-year-old passenger was later taken to Victoria Hospital in London for further medical care.
The Traffic Management Unit is investigating.
Police had Communication Road closed for several hours, but it has since reopened.
