A Windsor psychotherapist facing an allegation of professional misconduct has had her license reinstated.
Elizabeth Haramic had her membership to the College of Registered Psychotherapists revoked back in April.
She is alleged to have made false statements in her application and allegedly had sex with two of her patients while in her care.
Haramic appealed to the divisional courts to try and get her license reinstated.
The court ruled on Monday that Haramic can have her license back temporarily, pending the outcome of a full hearing to the divisional court.
"There was no procedural fairness further she maintained that the allegation that she hadn't answered a question on the application form correctly, there is an error in the findings by the registrar as well," says Haramic's lawyer Michael Gordner.
Gordner says Haramic is very pleased.
"It is a long hard fight when you ask the court to overturn what a college has done to one of their members," he says. "Any professional college is obviously a very important part to play."
The full hearing before the divisional court is slated for December 20th.
