Little information is available after a closed door meeting of the Windsor Public Library Board.
Chair Mayor Drew Dilkens would only confirm the board made a decision on a property matter.
Library CEO Kitty Pope says the matter must still receive approval from city council.
The library is looking for a site for a new library.
The current main branch has been sold to the Downtown Mission and must be vacated by June 2019.
A suggestion the Enwin building on Ouellette Avenue be used was dismissed because it is too small.
Neither Dilkens or Pope would comment on the decision made behind closed doors.
