An official nomination meeting is scheduled for Wednesday night in Kingsville
A candidate has come forward to represent the Liberal party in Essex.
A party Facebook page as well as a website have been set up for Kate Festeryga.
According to the website, Festeryga was born and raised in Essex County and is a long-time activist looking to put her government experience to work for the people of Essex.
She is currently the Issues Manager and Legislative Assistant for Steven Del Duca, the MPP for Vaughan as well as Minister of Economic Development and Growth.
