Search warrants were executed Tuesday at 5am.
A Leamington man has been arrested following a shooting.
The OPP's Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant at homes on Erie St South and Montgomery St on Tuesday at 5am.
It stemmed from a shooting that took place Sunday at 10pm when a 29-year-old Leamington man went to Leamington hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
On Tuesday, Police arrested 31-year-old Cesar Cubias-Gonzalez who is facing charges of assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and failing to comply with with probation order.
