It's an Ace for Leamington as it has landed the 2017 Racquetball Canada Junior National Championships.
The Leamington Recreation Complex will host the event for athletes under the age of 18 from April 25 to April 29.
60 athletes will take part, plus coaches and family members bringing a total of 150 people to town.
"This bid has gone up against a number of much larger communities than Leamington. Previous communities included Kelowna BC, Winnipeg Manitoba and Valleyfield Quebec," said Leamington Mayor John Paterson.
"I know our hotels, motels and restaurants will benefits from the families who come here," said Paterson. "I know there won't be hundreds and millions of people watching this on TV but it is certainly beneficial to our community and one step in the many to improve our sports tourism and tourism in general."
The Championships also includes opening and closing ceremonies along with a parade of athletes.
