Leamington District Memorial Hospital has a new high tech piece of equipment.
It unveiled the state of the art "dual-imaging reduced radiation" CT scanner Friday with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The $1.3-million scanner will help get clearer pictures of a patient's condition.
It will also allow the hospital to increase the number of scans every day and increase the number of more complex scans.
The equipment was funded by the Leamington Hospital Foundation.
