A 40-year-old from Leamington has been charged with stunt driving.
Ontario Provincial Police say the driver was stopped early Thursday morning on Highway 3 in Tecumseh for going 144 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.
Police say the driver will appear in court on September 14 to answer to the charge.
