Jake Muzzin had a goal and two assists for Toronto, which had lost its previous two games, including a 5-2 loss Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.
Matt Murray logged 26 saves for Pittsburgh. Penguins forward Dominik Kahun exited in the third period after blocking a shot with his left foot.
The Penguins are 4-1-and-1 in their last six games.
