The Town of LaSalle is hosting an open house.
It will take place on Thursday at the LaSalle Civic Centre.
Mayor Ken Antaya says it's a chance for residents to meet with town staff to ask questions and share concerns.
He says the town will have information about transit, the emergency alert system, the 2018 budget, water billing and the 2018 municipal election.
"It gives an opportunity for the residents to come in and ask questions that they might not be able to ask at council meetings or may not get the full flavour at the counter at town hall."
Antaya says the open house gives residents an opportunity to come in and ask questions.
"This way we have people that are going to be specifically answering questions that they encounter. If it's something about transit or the parks or the Vollmer or the public services that we provide, just a little bit more and knowledge of what the community provides."
He says the town wants to hear from its residents.
"We just want to make sure that there's no stone left unturned. If we're not doing the service properly in a certain area in some people's eyes, if there's room for improvement, if there's suggestions, if there's comments that's what we're there for. We want to make sure that we're handling it in a responsible way."
Representatives from LaSalle Fire and LaSalle Police will be on hand.
The open house runs from 4pm until 7pm.
