The Town of LaSalle is remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The town held its Remembrance Day Service at Cenotaph Park this morning.
Hundreds gathered including a number of students from both elementary and secondary schools in town.
Elisa Quaggiotto is the Co-Prime Minister at Sandwich Secondary and addressed the crowd, saying "it's important to remember the fallen."
"Hundreds of thousands of Canadians died for the sake of our freedom, they died for us, they died for their homes, they died for their families and cherished a future in which they believed in, they died for Canada," said Quaggiotto.
The service included the laying of the wreaths, speeches, prayers and a moment of silence.
