According to the service, officers found the suspect inside his home on Oakridge St. in LaSalle but refused to come outside.

A LaSalle man, 58, is charged with one count of uttering threats to cause death.

Police stress there is no threat to public safety and are awaiting the appropriate authorization to search the suspect’s home, so officers will continue to remain on scene.
