Lack of rain and hot weather blamed for second local burn ban
The Town of LaSalle has now issued a burn ban for the municipality.
All forms of open air fires are prohibited in the town of LaSalle until further notice.
The ban includes campfires, chimineas, outdoor fireplace, fire pit, brush fires, agricultural fires and fireworks.
Yesterday the Town of Tecumseh issued a burn ban, citing the hot, humid weather and a lack of rain.
