LaSalle is changing its summer concert series.
Director of Culture and Recreation Julie Columbus says the town is adding a night market with food trucks to the live entertainment event.
She says they will happen May 27th, June 24th, July 29th and August 26th.
Columbus believes the night market is an enhancement to the concert series.
"We're hoping up to 16 vendors will be on site," says Columbus. "There will be food and entertainment so different opportunities to purchase some local home grown stuff."
She says the town is hoping people ride or walk to the night market.
"We're really going to push the active transportation part of it too, Columbus says. " We really want to encourage people to get out biking, come out and enjoy, maybe take a walk on a Sunday night, enjoy the entertainment, do a stroll, get some shopping done."
The market and concert series will take place under the canopy at the LaSalle Civic Centre at the corner of Malden Road and Normandy.
