LaSalle is adding two new traffic lights in the municipality.
Mayor Ken Antaya says the lights will be located on Malden Road at Wyoming and on Todd Lane at Elmdale.

He says along with the new lights, the town is synchronizing the current traffic lights on Malden.
Antaya says a traffic signal at Wyoming and Malden is needed.
"That's going to be the new LCBO, that's where the new hardware store is and the Starbucks and kitty corner is the Tim Hortons and the bank so when you start looking, taking all that into account and trying to create pedestrian movement that's going east and west to our trails, you have to make sure that's protected as well," says Antaya.
The town did have a traffic light on Malden Road at Todd Lane but it was removed a few years ago in favour of a roundabout.
The work was done during the Malden Road re-construction project from Todd Lane to Normandy Road.
The new light at Malden at Wyoming is only a couple seconds from the Todd/Malden intersection.
The installation along with the synchronizing will occur this summer.
