The trophy the Toronto Raptors captured in June has made a stop in Windsor.
The Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy was showcased at Charles Clark Square on Saturday.
It was part of the Raptors and Dairy Farmers of Ontario's MilkUP Trophy Tour.
Alex Jeftic is from Windsor and is a die hard Raptors fan.
He was one of the first in line to take a photo with the trophy and says he's been waiting a long time for this moment.
"I've been a huge supporter since I was little and for the first time for them winning the championship, it means a lot to the country and to me," says Jeftic.
Jeftic says the trophy was bigger than he expected.
"I actually didn't expect it to be that big," says Jeftic. "When I first saw it, I was actually amazed how big it was. It's very shiny too and it just means everything."
The trophy is visiting eight cities in Ontario.
It has already made stops in Ottawa, Kingston, Peterborough and the north Humber campus in Toronto.
The Raptors won their first NBA championship this past June, defeating the Golden State Warriors in six games.
