The Windsor Lancers defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19) to capture the program's second OUA men's volleyball bronze medal in as many years.
The Lancers were led by Brad Gyemi with 16 kills, while Toronto's Evan Falardeau led the game with 19 kills on the day.
Starting in place of an injured Pierce Johnson, Sean Spencer had a great day posting 11 kills.
The Lancers were a wall at the net, dominating the Blues 7-0 in solo blocks.
The Lancers kept their foot on the gas preventing the Varsity Blues from making a run as they had done in the previous sets.
With match point on the line it was only right that John Moate was the one to hammer the final nail in the coffin, winning the set 25-19 and match 3-1 to capture their second straight OUA bronze medal.
