The University of Windsor has announced the new head coach for the Lancer's Women's Soccer Team.
Daniel Mendonca takes over the role immediately.
He's a former goaltender for the Lancer's mens team from 2007-2012.
He also served as goaltending coach for both the mens and womens teams since his graduation.
Director of Athletics, Mike Havey, says this is the next logical step for Mendonca.
He fills the role left vacant wiht the retirement of Steve Hart who held the position for ten years.
