The Windsor Lancers had three members of the cross country team named U SPORTS all-Canadians following the national championships yesterday in Victoria, BC.
Stefanie Smith ran her final cross country race in a time of 28:27.36 to place ninth overall in the 8km event to be named a second team all-Canadian.
On the men's side, Shawn Masters and Andrew Nebel were also named second team all-Canadians. Masters crossed the finish line of the 10km course eleventh overall with a time of 31:48.57, while Nebel was thirteenth with a time of 31:50.66.
As a team, the Lancer men place sixth overall with a team score of 164 points. The Guelph Gryphons captured the men's overall title with 57 points.
