The Windsor Lancers were back on their home floor and blew out of the gates with an explosive offense, and the outcome was rarely in doubt as they whipped Waterloo, 72-50.
The Lancers defense was suffocating most of the night, allowing just 25 per cent of shots from the field and 20 per cent from three.
Carly Steer came up big, leading all scorers with 19 points. The Warriors were led by Beth Howlett who scored nine points.
The Lancers won the battle on the boards, bringing in 43 rebounds to the Warriors' 33.
Up next in U-Sports action, the Lancers will be home again on Saturday afternoon to take on the Brock Badgers.
The Windsor men also won last night, blasting the Warriors 100-85.
