The Lancer football program has a new defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
Jesse Alexander comes to Windsor with over 10 years of combined coaching experience with the York Lions and Laurier Golden Hawks.
He spent the 2017 season with the Lions as their special teams' coordinator, following a decade with the Golden Hawks where he worked mostly with the linebackers.
In 2016, he captured a Yates Cup as a member of the Laurier coaching staff.
In addition to his coaching experience with the Lions and Golden Hawks, Alexander has spent time in the Ontario Varsity Football League, most recently as the defensive coordinator for the Cambridge Lions for three seasons from 2013-2015.
