The University of Windsor men's basketball team has added Justace Byam to its roster for next season.
The 6'1" guard spent the past two seasons with Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah, where he was named team MVP both years while averaging 22 points, six assists and four-and-a-half rebounds per game.
The Brampton, Ontario, native was named to the all-state team both years.
Lancers' new head coach Chris Cheng is excited to add Byam.
"Justace is a pass first point guard who really cares about getting his teammates involved," says Cheng. "He is a competitor, communicator and most of all, a solid individual."
Byam is the fifth student-athlete to commit to the Lancers since Cheng was named head coach in May and is looking forward to playing for him next year at the university.
