The Lakeshore Canadiens look to make it two in a row in the Profincial Junior Hockey League.
The Canadiens host the Wheatley Sharks tonight Friday at the Atlas Tube Centre at 7pm.
Lakeshore is coming off a 5-2 win last Sunday against Blenheim while Wheatley is coming off back to back wins.
"The process necessarily hasn't been the best but they're coming out with wins and when it's an early part of the season, you have a lot of games, you just want to make sure that you're getting those wins well improving and we've been doing that," says Canadiens Head Coach Anthony Iaquinta.
He says Wheatley is a hard working team.
"They just continuous non stop and they're physical, they don't give up much of the ice at all," says Iaquinta. "We beat them six nothing last time but I don't think it was very indicative of what the game was really like. It was a pretty good battle right until the end."
Iaquinta says his team is trying to improve its special teams.
"Our special teams has been pretty horrible here for the first part," says Iaquinta. "We're not going to sugar coat it so we're working on it everyday."
The Canadiens and Sharks have faced each other twice this season with Lakeshore winning both games and outscoring Wheatley 10-1.
