The Town of Lakeshore has announced its interim Chief Administrative Officer.
Former town clerk Mary Masse has been appointed by council.
She replaces Tom Touralias.
As heard on AM800 news on Thursday, Touralias held the position for four-years but was dismissed earlier this year.
Mayor Tom Bain says Masse knows the history of the town.
"She has been with us for over 30-years going back to the municipality of Rochester and has done an excellent job for us," says Bain.
Bain says Masse retired from the town last year.
"By bringing Mary back we were able to not have someone who you have to bring up to speed, you've got someone who can hit the ground running," says Bain. "Mary's been with us and knows all the history."
The town is currently accepting application for the CAO position.
Bain says the town would like to have a permanent CAO in place within the next three to four months.
Masse's first day on the job is March 11th.
