The Sunsplash Festival rolled into Lakeshore with hundreds of classic cars.
Notre Dame St. was home to the 16th annual Classic Cruise Car Show.
The streets were closed so those in attendance could inspect cars ranging generations.
Thousands of people swung through town for an event Lakeshore resident Bob Baillargeon says he looks forward to every year.
The foot traffic has been a big boost to local businesses, according to Baillargeon.
"It's awesome, anytime you get this kind of people out, even the businesses, they're all doing well," says Baillargeon. "Our son is part owner of the sports shop down the road and it's just steady, steady, people, It's good for the businesses."
Baillargeon says he's been attending the car show for years, but this year he decided to show off his 1969 Dodge Dart.

"I've always been a car guy, we've had this car for seven years, so it was just a matter of getting it all together and bringing it to the show," he says.
Baillargeon says there are some impressive cars on display.
"There was a 1933 Ford three window coupe, which was really nice, and a 1969 [Dodge] Super Bee and some nice [Ford] Mustangs," he says.
This is the 22nd year for the festival.
It wraps up Sunday night.
