The Lakeshore Canadiens look to make it nine in a row.
They welcome the Wallaceburg Lakers Friday night to the Atlas Tube Centre.
Lakeshore is coming off back to back shut-out victories over Wheatley and Petrolia.
Head Coach Anthony Iaquinta says he's pleased with the way his team is playing right now.
"The last eight or nine games have been really good for us," says Iaquinta. "I've felt like we've controlled the play a bit more than usual and our energy is up and everyone's excited to come to the rink right now. So it's a good time right now and that might change but we'll enjoy it well we can."
He adds his team can't take Wallaceburg lightly.
"When you're playing a team like Wallaceburg, they have nothing to lose right now so obviously they're going to try and steal a couple points," says Iaquinta. "We just got to come prepared and ready to play."
The last times these two teams played, Lakeshore won 8-0.
The Lakers beat Petrolia earlier this month to pick up their first win of the season.
The Canadiens sit fourth in the Stobbs Division with 50 points while Wallaceburg sits ninth with four points.
Game time is set for 7pm.
