The WECSAA high school basketball championships were held yesterday at the St Denis Centre with E..J Lajeunesse claiming the single 'A' title with a big 87-36 win over Cardinal Carter.
Ahmed Abou Elhassan tossed in 19 points, while his brother Ibrahim added 17 to power the Royals.
Ryan Raffoul had 16 and Ralph Dominguez scored 9 points for the Cougars.
In the double 'AA' title game it was Kennedy stopping their neighbours from Catholic Central 64-50.
Ali Mansour and Glenn Willis Paris were the top scorers for the Clippers with 17 each.
The triple 'AAA' final has Holy Names dropping Herman 62-44.
