Lacasse Park in Tecumseh is now open.
Kids flooded the area this afternoon to give the new equipment a try.
Parent, Mary Casagrande says her family has really been looking forward to this day.
"We're really glad that it's up and running and right after school we decided, might as well take advantage of it with the beautiful nice weather," she says.

Eliana was one of the first kids there after school and says she was looking forward to trying out a new feature.
"They have this app that you can now download and come here and find these pictures around the playground — insert it in the app and you can get points."
The playground was destroyed by a fire in October 2017, causing $400,000 in damages along with replacing the equipment.
A 13-year-old Tecumseh boy issued a public letter of apology for setting the playground on fire. He was charged with arson and referred to the Essex County Youth Diversion Program.
